Chase the chameleon was a happy chameleon but he always knew he was different from his friends, he was green. Chase was unable to change to different colours just like his other friends could. Chase tried to sit on red tomato and he couldn’t change colour, matter how hard he tried. His friends laughed at him and they didn’t want play with because Chase was different. Chase was very sad and went to talk to his grandfather, who was old and wise. Chase’s grandfather said “ stop trying so hard to fit in, just keep being yourself”. Chase went over to the river and stood on a log and looked at his reflection. Slowly Chase saw his skin change from green to brown, he scurried quickly to see his grandfather. On the way he passed his friends and they saw his changing color as he ran by. Chase called out “ grandfather, I changed colour”. Chase was so excited and his friends came to ask him to come and play.

In Duck Village, sisters Ailie and Josie are excited for their mom's party, but aliens suddenly abduct their mom. Scared and worried, they soon discover they have superpowers and can fly. Josie crashes through the ceiling, creating a hole for them to fly through into space. They reach the North Star, where their powers grow stronger, allowing them to fly super fast. They find the UFO and rescue their mom, who also gains superpowers when they hug her. Together, they fly back to Duck Village with their new abilities. The party resumes, and the family is celebrated as heroes. The story ends with them looking at the North Star, remembering their brave adventure and living happily ever after.

1. John Jr and Vasi saw a show about gardening. It really sparked their interest. John Jr asked his mom if he and Vasi could plant a garden in backyard. She agreed and found a how to book on gardening for John Jr and Vasi. 2. John Jr got some of his allowance money and he and Vasi took off to the store. At the store John Jr and Vasi purchased cucumber, pepper, cantaloupe, radish and lettuce seeds. 3. John Jr and Vasi had to prep the ground for their garden. They had to till the soil to a depth of about 10 inches,add fertilizer to enrich the soil, Level the garden bed, and Water the soil well and let it settle for a few days. 4. A few days passed and John Jr and Vasi were ready to plant. They poked holes for the seeds, then placed seeds and covered dirt over seeds. After planting , they gave a nice watering to their garden. 5. John Jr and Vasi looked after and watered their garden daily. A few weeks went by and there was some buds sprouting. A few more weeks later there was fruit and vegetables starting to form. 6.. As summer was closing in, the fruit and veggies were ripe and in abundance. John Jr and Vasi went out to the garden and picked all the fruits and vegetables. There was so much that they gave Granny and a few neighbors some of their harvest. He returns to the sea, spreading joy and warmth, and even helps Cranky find his lost shiny stone, showcasing his transformation.
