Le encanta ir al club a jugar y a la pileta. Le encantan las hamacas y es fanático del subterráneo. Bartolomé va cambiando de ciudad, le encanta conocer lugares nuevos. Vivía en Neuquén, en una casa donde había gansos. Ahora vive en Houston y disfruta mucho de pasear. Un día hablaron los tres por teléfono y decidieron hacer un viaje solos, como grandes. Hicieron girar un globo terráqueo y con los ojos cerrados Clemente señaló un lugar: Tokio. Estaban felices. Era un lugar desconocido y les divertía mucho ir los tres juntos como adultos. Armaron las valijas y dijeron nos encontramos allá! Cada uno llevó su juguete preferido. Las aventuras de viaje fueron infinitas. Llamaban a sus casas para contar sus aventuras. Cuando terminó el viaje se pusieron tristes, pero también ya tenían ganas de regresar a sus casas.

Haden Edwards received an empresario contract to settle 800 families near Nacogdoches. When he arrived with the families in the 1820s, he discovered people already lived there. They arrived long before Mexico gave him the grant. Edwards became very angry and tried to take over the town. The Mexican government did not support Edwards. Instead, they annulled his contract. Edwards stayed in the area and attempted to start a rebellion. On December 21, 1826, Edwards and his supporters claimed part of East Texas free and independent of Mexico. They named it the Republic of Fredonia. They even had support of the Cherokee in the area. However, most Anglo settlers in Texas did not support Haden’s rebellion. When a group of men from Austin’s colony joined with Mexican soldiers to march on Fredonia, Haden and his brother fled to the United States. The unrest caused Mexican leaders to rethink their immigration policies.

He tried to swim back, but the current was too strong. He was being swept out to sea! Just then, he saw Mr. Starfish, the wise old starfish, floating nearby. "Mr. Starfish, help!" Timmy cried. "The tide is taking me away!" Mr. Starfish smiled calmly. "Don't panic, Timmy," he said. "Swim parallel to the shore until you're out of the current." Timmy did as he was told, and soon he was safe. "Thank you, Mr. Starfish!" he said. "I'll never forget your advice." From that day on, Timmy always listened to Shelly's warnings and respected the power of the ocean. He learned that even though adventures are fun, safety always comes first. Moral of the Story: * Always listen to warnings from your friends and elders. * Be aware of your surroundings, especially when near water. * If you're ever in trouble, stay calm and ask for help.
