When the time is right, we’ll take care of it together.”  “Daddy, my tooth feels so loose now!” Arthur looked at her and said, “I think it’s time to  help that tooth come out. Can you get me a piece of string from the drawer?” Imoni’s eyes grew wide. “String? What for?” “We’ll tie it to your tooth and give it a quick pull.” Arthur explained gently. Imoni hesitated. “But what if it hurts, Daddy?  Arthur knelt down to her level. “I know you’re scared, sweetheart. But trust me, I’ll be gentle, and it’ll only take a second. You’re so brave, and I’ll be right here with you.” Imoni looked into her daddy’s kind eyes. She took a deep breath and nodded. “Okay, Daddy. I trust you.” Arthur carefully tied the string around Imoni’s loose tooth. “Ready, sweetheart?” he asked. Imoni squeezed her eyes shut and held her daddy’s hand. “Ready,” she whispered. “On the count of three,” Arthur said. “One… two…” Before he got to three, he gave a quick tug, and the tooth popped right out! Imoni opened her eyes. “Wait… is it out?” Arthur held up the tiny tooth. “It’s out! You did it, Imoni!” Imoni touched the gap in her mouth and smiled. “It didn’t even hurt!” she said, giggling. “I told you,” Arthur said, hugging her. “Sometimes, trusting someone makes all the difference. "That night, Imoni placed her tiny tooth under her pillow and climbed into bed. She felt proud and brave. Arthur kissed her forehead. “Goodnight, my brave girl. I’m so proud of you.”

It's Kobi's 3rd birthday and all she wants is a white birthday cake with colorful sprinkles. But on the day of her birthday she thinks her mommy forgot all about her cake. Grandma Gross, Darlene, grew up in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota. She had 2 sisters, she liked to roller skate, she liked to write, and . Her Grandpa Gross, James, grew up in Lastrup, Minnesota. He had 2 brothers and 2 sisters, he helped out at his father's grocery store, could fix just about anything, and joined the Navy. Darlene and Jim met at the Falls Ballroom and fell in love. They married September 1st, 1956 and went on to have 4 daughters. As a family, Grandma and Grandpa and the 4 girls traveled, went camping, visited grandparents, and had family dinners together. Eventually the 4 daughters grew up and had their own kids and mama was born. Mama spent time with her grandparents at their Camper at Camp Holiday, and had Christmas, holidays, and birthday celebrations with the entire family. Grandma and mama were very close. Mama has the wedding ring that grandpa presented to grandma all those years ago in 1956. Grandma and Grandpa are buried at Fort Snelling.
