Once upon a time, there were two children named Audrey and Daniel. Their dad loved fishing more than anything! One sunny day, Dad packed up his fishing gear and took Audrey, Daniel, and their Jack Russell terrier, Butch, down to the creek for a day of fishing fun. Butch, of course, was excited for a swim. Dad helped Audrey and Daniel set up their fishing lines. First, Audrey caught a small carp! She was so excited, she jumped up and down. Then, Dad hooked the biggest fish Audrey and Daniel had ever seen – a huge cod! He shouted to Daniel, "Grab the net!" The 4kg cod was a monster! "Fish and chips tonight!" Audrey exclaimed. I can't tell you how often I wish my lifelong trial would be over and how often I literally ask God why he is making me go through all this pain even I KNOW he could take it away... Then I remember the little and big wins along the way and the things I have learned and gained because of pain I am constantly in. God absolutely tells me where to step, but I haven't ever experienced the feeling of him completely lifting me to the top of the playground. I feel him watching me and cheering me along. Then I do something impossible and I jump up and down with joy saying "I did it!" and I know he's so proud of me. And just like little Lex I think to myself, "Oh that’s why you let us do hard things." Let's not forget to let God guide us. Thank God for the miracles we experience every day

Met de uil aan haar zijde en een magisch zwaard in zijn hand, vocht Sterre tegen de schaduwen. Zij zwaaide het zwaard en met elke slag verdween een stukje duisternis. Na een grote strijd was het kasteel gered. De lucht klaarde op en de sterren straalden helderder dan ooit. "Dank je wel, Sterre," zei de uil. "Je hebt het koninkrijk gered!" Maar toen Sterre om zich heen keek, werd alles wazig. Het kasteel vervaagde en zij voelde zich weer in zijn bed. Zij opende zijn ogen en vond zichzelf terug in zijn kamer. Het was allemaal een droom… of was het dat toch? Op haar nachtkastje lag een schudbol met een kasteel daarin, precies zoals het kasteel uit zijn droom. "Misschien was het geen droom" dacht Sterre, terwijl zij glimlachte en zijn ogen sloot, klaar om weer in slaap te vallen.
