Gabby is 7 years old, she was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus erythematosus and i want to write a childrens book trying to explain the disease to her in simple terms, how the disease works and what are the triggers so she can avoid them but explain it in terms of a kid at 7 years of age would understand, her triggers are usually the sun, infections and stress, her symptoms are usually pain in her tummy, blood clots and bruising in her hands and feet, recently she had a chest infection that got really bad she had to be in ICU where the doctors had to "turn off" her immune system because it was attacking her heart, kidneys, lungs and brain, she had to be sedated (like sleeping beauty) so she can be intibated and treated with steroids and antibiotics, the story should be like an adventure and not scary, she can be a detective in the story trying to get to know her disease and this is part 1

Lolang was a strong and dependable carabao, always helping the villagers with their plowing and other tasks. Her gentle eyes and calm demeanor made her a favorite among the children, who loved to ride on her back. One sunny day, as Lolang was grazing near the edge of the village, she noticed a beautiful mango tree that she had never seen before. Its branches were laden with golden, ripe mangoes that glowed in the sunlight. Intrigued, Lola wandered closer to the tree and was surprised to hear a soft, melodious voice. "Hello, dear carabao," the voice said. "I am the spirit of the Magic Mango Tree. These mangoes have special powers, but only those with a pure heart can take them." Lolang's eyes widened in wonder. "Magic mangoes? What do they do?" The tree spirit replied, "Each mango grants a special wish. However, the wishes must be used to bring joy and harmony to others." Lolang thought about the villagers and their hardworking lives. She knew she could use the magic mangoes to help them. With the tree spirit's permission, she gently picked three mangoes and carried them back to the village.

One bright sunny day up at the cabin, Waylon wanted to go on an hiking adventure. across flowers that were yellow, blue, pink, orange and purple. Along the way in the magical forest, we saw ants, grasshoppers, and colorful butterflies. The birds were singing to us as we walked the trail. We came across heather-filled meadows showcasing summer alpine wildflowers, blueberries, and huckleberries. There were black bears eating blueberries on the side of the trail. The sun was shining, and the air was clear and crisp. We talked about all of the plants, insects, and animals we saw on are adventure up the mountain. Papa was very proud that Waylon wanted to share his adventures with him. On are way down the mountain we laughed and played in the forest. We climbed trees and large rocks as we were hiking down. We talked about our next great adventure and how much we love each other and the playground that Mother nature has provided for us.

My daughter is 5 and her name is Kayleigh. She has autism and speech delay, but she is now starting to talk after being non verbal her entire life. I want to encourage other little kids to never give up. Autism and speech delay looks different for anyone dealing with it. You are amazing inside and out and you should always believe in yourself. Kayleigh began using a speech program on her ipad at the age of 3. She's been in ABA therapy since she was 2.5 years old and Speech, Occupational, and Physical therapy since 6 months of age. She's overcome many challenges but she is smart as a wip. She communicates very well with approximations and sign language and has very good receptive language. Kayleigh is such a bright little girl who has a heart that is full of love. Her and her mommy are best friends and love to sing together while listening our favorite Beyonce' song "Energy". She loves bubbles and also driving her 5 electric cars/jeeps. She also loves her pets Bella and Milani.
