Our Kindergarten class is learning how to deal with big emotions. When they are feeling overwhelmed by big emotions they should tell an adult they need a break, how we can help them or what is making them feel that way. We want to help them understand their feeling so that they will be able to learn to self-regulate. We encourage deep breathing, breaks, walks, alone time and telling adults how they feel.

One Saturday, they have no school so they decide to hang out at Owen's house. 5. The back of Owen's house has a forest, they decide to walk into the forest to have a good adventure 6. They find a cave, and the 2 boys want to go inside. Ami is scared and tries to stop them but Owen says "It will be fine". 7. All 3 boys decide to go inside the cave. Ami doesn't want to be alone so she follows them. Once they go inside, all the rocks fall to close the entrance. 8. In the cave gets dark, there is little light from outside. They see ants walk to the light. They follow the ants til they find the exit

In the middle of the clearing stood a group of colorful fairies, dancing and singing.

Every night before bed, Ateş has a habit of counting stars, naming them after his loved ones. This ritual is a way for him to remember his family and cope with his current situation. In the neighboring cage is Toprak, who becomes Ateş's confidant. As Ateş counts the stars, he shares his dreams and memories with Toprak, forming a bond between the two dogs. The chapter ends with Toprak wondering about Ateş's past and how he ended up at the shelter, setting up the mystery of Ateş's background.

The Ninny is about a brief encounter between an employer and the governess he hires for his children, Yulia. The man calls the governess to his study to discuss the wages owed for the month. The man states that they planned to pay her thirty rubles a month, but she counters that it was forty. He keeps tricking her out of money. The moral of this story is to be strong and stand up for yourself when anybody is trying to put you down or make you lose your spirits.
