The maned wolf realized that the falcon was a skilled hunter, and that its prey could be a tasty meal for him. From that day on, the maned wolf and the falcon became friends. The maned wolf would watch as the falcon hunted, and then he would scavenge for any leftovers. In return, the maned wolf would warn the falcon of any danger lurking in the tall grasses. Their friendship was a great benefit to both animals. The maned wolf had a steady supply of food, while the falcon knew that it could rely on the maned wolf to keep watch. And so, they lived happily ever after, a reminder that even the most unlikely creatures can form the most beautiful friendships.

During the voyage, the pilgrims passed the time by reading by candlelight or playing cards and games. Upon the arrival on land, the pilgrims were surprised to see the ground frozen and that led to their inability to plant and harvest food. 4. John Jr told Yuehan about the native Indians giving a hand to the pilgrims. The Indians taught the pilgrims how to gather food and survival skills. The help from the Indians save 53 pilgrims from ultimately perishing. Most of the pilgrims died from diseases described as a mixture of scurvy, pneumonia, and tuberculosis. 5. The following year, the 53 pilgrims and 90 Wampanoag Indians had a celebration that we now call Thanksgiving. The Mayflower was torn apart after Christopher Jones passed away. 6. John Jr and Yuehan started counting down the days to Thanksgiving. They planned a special tribute and prayer for the Pilgrim and Indians!

That’s why the footprints they made would stay there for thousands of years! They also discovered that the Moon has no light of its own—it only shines because it reflects light from the Sun. Leo, Maya, and Alex also visited a huge crater called Tycho. They marveled at the steep walls and rocky surface. Commander Vega explained that the craters were formed by meteoroids crashing into the Moon long ago.
