I trust Him to love me, provide for me and protect me. I trust Him to make all things work together for good to those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose. 4. They decided that their confidence resides in God, believer, not in ourselves or our talents or friends or some other misguided hope.

Once upon a time, in a dense green forest, there lived a clever fox named Felix. Felix was known for his quick thinking and sharp wit. One sunny afternoon, while Felix was relaxing under a tree, he heard the rustle of leaves. It was a hungry wolf named Bruno, prowling for food. Bruno spotted Felix and growled, “Ah, Felix! You’ll make a fine meal for me today!” Felix, though startled, didn’t show fear. Instead, he smiled and said, “Oh, mighty Bruno! Eating me would be such a waste. I’m too small to fill your big tummy. But I know where you can find a huge feast!” Bruno paused and asked suspiciously, “Where is this feast?” Felix pointed toward the nearby well and said, “Look inside. There’s a fat, juicy lamb waiting at the bottom. You’ll love it!” Bruno rushed to the well. He peered inside and saw his own reflection in the water. Thinking it was the lamb, he leapt in, only to splash into the cold water! Felix laughed from the edge of the well, saying, “Dear Bruno, always look before you leap!” Felix trotted off happily, leaving Bruno drenched and grumpy.

There were green fields, sparkling rivers, and even distant snow-capped mountains. Rio held his breath - a whole world was spread out in front of him, waiting for him to discover it. But suddenly the bird disappeared, leaving only a golden feather behind. Rio picked it up and realized that he didn't need to fly far to become a true traveler. Every day he could discover something new, even near the house, the main thing is to keep the thirst for adventure in his heart! Since then, Rio has not stopped exploring the world around him. He found amazing plants, listened to the stories of old trees and even made friends with a family of foxes, who showed him the secret paths of the forest. But the golden feather did not stop glowing in his paws, and one night it suddenly shone especially brightly. "What does this mean?" the dragon was surprised. He can come up with a plan to get Sally to her mail, but he does not have the strength to lift heavy objects. He has been teased all his life, but feels comfortable with his friends. He comes up with a plan to build a ramp so Sally can get her mail.

The Line Fire is a large active wildfire in San Bernardino County, Southern California. The fire began on September 5 near the community of Highland and spread into the San Bernardino National Forest. The fire has forced the evacuation of multiple communities. On September 10, the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department identified and arrested 34-year-old Justin Wayne Halstenberg, a resident of Norco, on suspicion of starting the fire on September 5. As of October 8, 2024, the Line Fire has burned 43,978 acres (17,797 hectares) and is 87 percent contained. The cause of the fire is believed to be arson.[3] It began during a multiple-day heatwave in Southern California. Downtown Los Angeles reached 112 °F (44 °C), the third time that temperature had been reached since 1877. The Line Fire has led to mandatory evacuation orders for more than 500 homes. Initial evacuation warnings were issued for neighborhoods in East Highland in the early morning of September 6, 2024. By September 7, 2024, evacuation orders would be placed for neighborhoods along the foothills, extending into San Bernardino, and for neighborhoods east of Calle Del Rio. Over the following days the mountain communities of Green Valley Lake, Cedar Glen, Lake Arrowhead, Crestline, Valley of Enchantment, and Big Bear Valley were placed under evacuation warnings. Mandatory evacuation orders were issued for Running Springs, Arrowbear Lake, Angelus Oaks, Seven Oaks, Forest Falls, and Mountain Home Village.
