However, the solitude wasn’t for her; she missed her friends Carly, a German Shorthair Pointer, and Nilah, a German Shepherd. Next, Ahri attempted to be a musician but soon realized she didn’t enjoy singing. She then considered firefighting but was too wary of fire. Throughout her explorations, her family and friends supported her. Carly suggested, “Why not join the Pup Academy? Training with other pups might help you find your way.” Eager to try, Ahri joined the academy, where she met Nilah, who was excited about the training. Together, they navigated the obstacle course. When she got tangled in a wire crawl, Ahri began to cry, feeling as if she had failed. Sargent Carly comforted her, saying, “You didn’t fail; you tried, and that’s important. You can try again.” Encouraged by Carly’s words, Ahri trained diligently. On her next attempt, she successfully completed the course, her friends cheering her on. Ahri realized that finding her purpose was about the journey and learning alongside loved ones, knowing she was on the right path to understanding who she was meant to be.

Mina is a half Korean and Half Vietnamese girl who is learning about the Vu Lan Festival that is celebrated on June 15th. She sees her parents setting up an altar and preparing food and learns to make a sweet rice cake with her mother. She is told that the festival is meant to honor parents and ancestors with offerings made at home and at the Vietnamese temple. Her family visits a temple and prays. In a flash, Max dashed through the jungle, but Ellie was quick. She caught him and locked him inside a sturdy cage at the jungle’s jail. Max sat in the cage, feeling a little scared and guilty. But, being the clever monkey he was, he didn’t stay down for long. As he looked around, he noticed something special in his pocket – a single, ripe banana. It seemed small, but Max had an idea. “I may be locked up, but I won’t give up,” he thought, smiling slyly. With his sharp teeth, he quickly peeled the banana and used the peel to carefully slip through the small cracks of the cage. It took time, but Max was patient. Finally, with a little wiggle and a lot of determination, Max managed to break free! As Max scampered out of the cage, he heard Ellie approaching, but by then, he was already far away, laughing at his own cleverness. He learned a valuable lesson that day. No matter how tough life gets, there’s always a way out if you don’t give up. The Moral of the Story: Never give up, even when things seem impossible. With clever thinking and determination, you can always find a way to overcome challenges.
