the main character is a little girl named Averi. She is 11 years old, she has brown skin and big brown eyes, her hair is brown and curly styled in to pigtails. She is dressed in a pink skirt, white shoes, and a white top. Averi's favorite thing to do is play the guitar. There are no recurring side characters. The setting in the beginning of the book is an old, run-down village that Averi lives in. The art style should be cartoony but also realistic in some ways. In the book, Averi is seen in her village playing an old guitar but she's still happy because she loves making music. Next, Averi is in her Grandmother's old attic looking for toys when she comes across a chest. She opens the chest and inside is an antique guitar with whimsical and colorful engravings on it. She takes the guitar and starts playing it only to realize that the music is magical. The music makes the dead flowers out the window start to bloom, makes the birds start to sing, and makes the sun shine brighter. The tune then carries out the window of the attic and some of the passing villagers hear it and get put into good moods. People come from far and wide to hear Averi play the magic guitar and the village begins to turn more colorful and lively as a result. Then, one day a terrible drought goes through the village causing all the farmers to be sad. The farmers ask Averi to come and play her magic guitar to see if it might make their crops start to grow again. Averi then goes to play the guitar at a farm and all of a sudden it starts to rain down on all the crops causing them to all magically revive and grow. The villagers all cheer and dance to her music. From that day on, Averi uses her magic to bring joy and hope to everyone she meets.

One sunny morning, Timmy decided to go on an adventure to the other side of the reef. "Be careful, Timmy," Shelly warned. "The tide can be tricky!" But Timmy was too excited to listen. He waved goodbye and swam off. As he reached the reef, he noticed the water was getting deeper. Suddenly, a strong current pulled him away from the reef! Timmy panicked. He tried to swim back, but the current was too strong. He was being swept out to sea! Just then, he saw Mr. Starfish, the wise old starfish, floating nearby. "Mr. Starfish, help!" Timmy cried. "The tide is taking me away!" Mr. Starfish smiled calmly. "Don't panic, Timmy," he said. "Swim parallel to the shore until you're out of the current." Timmy did as he was told, and soon he was safe. "Thank you, Mr. Starfish!" he said. "I'll never forget your advice." From that day on, Timmy always listened to Shelly's warnings and respected the power of the ocean. He learned that even though adventures are fun, safety always comes first. John Jr came across an envelope. Granny said they could open it. A map was in there. John Jr and Vasi studied it for a bit. 3. Granny explained it was a map of the Southside neighborhood. John Jr and Vasi wasted to go there bad, because the map showed a treasure hidden there. Granny took them to the area so John Jr and Vasi could explore. 4. John Jr and Vasiwalkaround for a few hours. They was about to give up, until they noticed an apple tree. The map showed the treasure near that. John Jr and Vasi studied the map a little more to figure out how it was position around that tree. 5. John Jr finds the spot and start digging. They get about 2 ft deep and see this hard plastic container. They get it out. 6. John Jr opens it up and finds a news paper from 1983. The headline was President Reagan created a day to honor Martin Luther King. They find some change that had 1983 imprinted on them. The was a tape of Michael Jackson's Thriller. 5. There was also a Care Bear with a heart on it. There was also some He-Man figurines. They find a box of Nerds candy. They wondered if the Nerds were safe to eat. 6. John Jr and Vasi takes the time capsule back to John Jr's Granny house. Everyone eats some supper. John Jr and Vasi go to their bedroom to play with the time capsule.
