On Remy's birthday, the rainbow bridge opens up so he and Tita can go visit the unicorns. On their way across the lands to the bridge, they encounter some of their furr friends and invite them along on their adventure. First they run into Chewy playing in a field of tennis balls. Then they run into Zuli Cat, playing in the snow with a bunch of cat toys. Together they make their way across the world and overcome challenges together as they reach the rainbow bridge. Once they arrive they are in awe! Together, hand in hand, Remy and Tita lead the way with their animals friends closely behind them. Once across, they are wowed by the magical landscapes and colors. This world across the rainbow bridge is colorful and beautiful. Not only do they see the wild unicorns, but waiting to greet them is their old animal Friend, Bruno. Reunited and full of love, all the friends head off together to play and spend the day together. A magical day, they can enjoy once a year on Remy’s special day.

2nd Grade Version To understand why the American Revolution happened, we need to look back at the years from 1754 to 1763. During this time, the British and the French were fighting in a war on land that is now part of the United States. This war is called the French and Indian War. The British wanted to control more land, and the French wanted to keep their land. Many Native Americans chose to help either the British or the French during this war. In 1759, British soldiers went to a city called Québec in Canada and won a big battle there. They took over another city called Montréal the next year. After that, there weren't many big battles left between the British and the French in North America. The fighting mostly stopped by 1763 when a peace agreement called the Treaty of Paris was signed. Why did the British start taxing the colonists, and why did this make them mad? The British government made laws and taxes that affected the colonists. Many colonists felt proud to be British, but they believed they had rights that the king should protect. They didn't like the Stamp Act, which was a new tax. In Virginia, some leaders, called the House of Burgesses, said that the British Parliament shouldn’t be taxing them. In 1765, the prime minister of Britain was George Grenville. He created the Stamp Act because he needed money to pay for British soldiers in North America. He thought the colonists should help pay for these soldiers who were protecting them. At first, the British leaders were surprised by how upset the colonists were. Grenville did not listen to their complaints and was eventually replaced in 1766. A leader named George Washington fought in the French and Indian War along with the British. He helped lead soldiers against the French. He became a well-known leader and was even elected to help make laws in Virginia.

John Jr's parents seemed pretty receptive to possibly going on a Hot Air Ballon as a family. They told John Jr and Nazut to find out more information. 4. John Jr and Nazut went to the internet. They found a company that wasn't too far from their home. 5. They found out it would cost about $200 per person and would last about an hour. John Jr and Nazut went back and told John Jr's parents and his mom made the reservations. 6. The long awaited day for the hot air balloon arrived and it was beautifully clear. As the pilot inflates the balloon, John Jr and Nazut can feel the heat from the burners and hear them roar. Once balloon was upright everyone boarded the super size basket. The take off was slow. John Jr and Nazut felt a breeze everytime they went to a new altitude. 6. John Jr and Nazut feel weightless as they glide through the air with the wind, traveling at speeds of five to six miles per hour. The 360 degree view was spectacular. Everything below looked so tiny. As the end of the ride approached, John Jr and Nazut thanked the pilot for "a magical experience that' was peaceful, exhilarating, and gentle." 7. The pilot had to keep using the burners to get the balloon to land. Once landed, everyone left the basket. John Jr and Nazut Thanked the pilot for an awesome time.

His friend Omar was great at painting, Ahmad could run faster than anyone, and Anas played the violin beautifully. Ali would watch them and wonder, “What am I good at?” Ali returned to the village, feeling proud. When Granny Muna saw him, she smiled warmly and said, “Did you find your treasure, Ali?” He replied, “I did. My treasure is helping others.” Granny Muna said, “That is a gift greater than any gold. You see, the real treasure is discovering what makes you you.” One day, the village elder, a wise old woman named Granny Muna, called all the children together. She had exciting news: "In the forest, there is a hidden treasure, but this treasure is different. It’s something that only you can find. Each of you will discover something special about yourselves." The children were excited and ran into the forest, eager to find the treasure. Ali followed, but he wasn’t sure where to look. As they searched, Omar found a shiny rock and painted a beautiful picture of the forest. Ahmad discovered a tall hill and raced to the top, faster than anyone else. Anas found a fallen branch and played a lovely tune on his violin. But Ali wandered, unsure of what treasure he was supposed to find. Just as he was about to give up, Ali heard a faint sound. It was a tiny bird, trapped in a thorny bush, chirping for help. Without thinking twice, Ali knelt down and carefully freed the little bird from the thorns. The bird fluttered its wings and sang a sweet melody of thanks before flying off. Suddenly, Ali realized something: he had a special talent too! He was kind and gentle, and he knew how to help others. Even though it wasn’t something he could see or hold, it was a treasure deep inside him.

A woman named Mary McLeod Bethune. She had a heart full of kindness and a mind full of dreams. Mary believed that every person, no matter their background, deserved a chance to succeed. During the Great Depression, times were tough. Many families struggled to make ends meet, and women faced even greater challenges. Mary knew she had to do something to help her fellow women. With determination, Mary set out on a mission to make a difference. She spoke up for the rights of women, especially those who were African American like herself. She believed that women should have equal opportunities for education, jobs, and fair treatment. During this time, the New Deal was created to help people in need. Mary saw this as a chance to advocate for women's rights. She shared her ideas on how to support women through the New Deal. With guidance, the New Deal began to include programs that provided jobs and resources for women.They opened up to education opportunities for young women.

A little girl named Luna loves to explore the earth, she loves to be on the beach, in the forest, she's seen the grand canyon, shes gone to safaris in Africa. One day she is telling her grandma how much she love the earth and her grandma tells her she has had beautiful experiences, but has she ever thanked the earth. Luna doesn't understand and goes on to figure out why and how she should thank the earth. SHe thinks to herself, the earth is not a person, the ocean has no feelings, and the tree can't cry. Her grandma goes on to tell her she is wrong. The Earth is a beautiful place, but it also hurts when it's mistreated. As people continue to heart the earth by causing climate change the beaches she loves may be ruined, the animals in the safari may disappear, and the earth she loves may feel sadness. Luna wants to help, her grandma tells her she must thank the earth for everything it does for us, and encourgae others to do the same. You can take a second and just say thank you earth, but you can also pick up trash you see on the street, use less water, walk to places instead of driving. Small things matter, and one day when luna is all grown up she can team up with people who also take time to thank the earth, and continue to tell others to do the same.,
