I’ll find a way.” Arion gently nudged the rock with her tiny paws. She pushed and pushed, and with one last little push, the rock rolled away! Luna hopped down. “Thank you, Arion! You are so brave!” Arion smiled. “I just used my big heart!” From that day on, Arion knew that being brave didn’t mean being big. It meant helping friends, no matter what. Lots of children give plastic bottle lids to Lids4Kids to be recycled. Lids4Kids volunteers sort them into color categories as a group. The colored lids are divided into 3 groups before being poured into a big machine that mulches them into small flakes. Another machine melts the flakes and extrudes them into a metal mold in the shape of slats for a bench. Volunteers then use carpentry tools to build a colorful bench.

The groups included in this book should be Indigenous Peoples, French Settlers, British Loyalists, Irish Immigrants, Scottish Immigrants, Other European Immigrants, African Canadians, Asian immigrants, Immigrants from the Middle East, Immigrants from Latin America.
