Chapter 2: The Secret of Courage One day, Fluffy the Raccoon was walking through the forest when he heard someone crying. He cautiously approached and saw a little rabbit who was stuck in the bushes. “Oh no!” squeaked the rabbit. “I’m stuck! Please help me!” Fluffy was scared at first, but then he remembered that once he had gotten stuck in the branches, and someone had helped him. He gathered his courage and pulled the bushes with his paws. In a minute, the rabbit was free. “Thank you!” exclaimed the rabbit happily. “My name is Speedy Bunny. What’s yours?” “I’m Fluffy the Raccoon,” Fluffy answered quietly. “You’re my hero!” said Speedy. “Let’s be friends!” Fluffy smiled. This was his first friend! Chapter 3: The Forest Ball The next day, a big celebration was planned in the forest—the Forest Ball. All the animals were invited to dance and play. But Fluffy was nervous again. What if no one wanted to dance with him? Speedy noticed that Fluffy hadn’t come to the party, so he ran to find him. “Hey, Fluffy!” Speedy called out. “Why didn’t you come?” “I’m afraid,” Fluffy admitted. “What if no one asks me to dance?” Speedy smiled. “Don’t worry! I’m your friend, and I’ll dance with you!” he said, giving Fluffy a big hug. Chapter 4: A Lesson for Everyone At the Forest Ball, all the animals were happy and playing. When Speedy and Fluffy started dancing, everyone noticed how great they looked together. “Fluffy the Raccoon is so fun and brave!” said the other animals. “We want to be friends with him too!” Fluffy wasn’t afraid anymore. He realized that true friendship is when you’re not afraid to be yourself and when you help others.

Well, it was because today Addie Mae turned three, and only special little girls can talk to animals as soon as they turn three. C is for cottage. So Adeline Mae jumps on his back and they fly down the hill and into the woods, and he took her to where a little secret cottage stood. D is for dog. The cottage was covered with thousands of beautiful flowers. Hidden behind the flowers was a small gold door. They open the door and are greeted with a loud bark. Inside the secret cottage is a white fluffy poodle. “Did you bring me my strudel?” The poodle is Sir Henry, the famous one eyed dog. E is for Eagle. “I’m so sorry.” Buzzes the bee, but the Eagle took your Strudel.” He says to the poodle. “The Eagle took my strudel!” The poodle barks wildly. The bee waves his wings in the air to silence the poodle. “But don’t stress your noodle. You grouchy one eyed poodle. Because I have a plan. I brought you this girl.” “Step forward girl. What makes her so special?”
