Lots of children give plastic bottle lids to Lids4Kids to be recycled. Lids4Kids volunteers sort them into color categories as a group. The colored lids are divided into 3 groups before being poured into a big machine that mulches them into small flakes. Another machine melts the flakes and extrudes them into a metal mold in the shape of slats for a bench. Volunteers then use carpentry tools to build a colorful bench.

As he looks around the shore a wave sweeps him into the ocean. Rising Action: Buddy, excited to explore the world, looks out into the vast ocean as he floats, drifting away from the shore. Suddenly Buddy sees something up a ahead that slowly drifting towards him. Climax: Buddy approaches it and realizes that its another water bottle(Bob). Buddy is very excited to meet a new person, however Bob is very gloomy and tries explaining how it's miserable it is on the ocean. As they're talking a sea turtle approaches form behind, and takes Bob away. Falling action: Buddy is sad that he is lonely, and thinks about what Bob was saying. Just before he loses all hope he starts to see a boat approaching. Conclusion: He is suddenly picked out of the ocean by a nice lady (Jean) who picks trash out of the ocean every Saturday. Then he is put into a pile with more trash. Then he hears a familiar voice... Bob! Bob explains how the girl saved him, and the sea turtle. Buddy and Bob finally got recycled. Her clothes did not fit her like they did the day before. Her body started to smell different. She didn't understand what was happening to her. Feeling alone and confused, she didn't want to go to school. Tears welled up in her eyes as she begged to stay home. However, as Julie slowly walked towards her classroom, she spotted something bright on the ground. It was an orange glitter ball, and she felt a sense of wonder and joy as she picked it up. Holding onto her new found treasure tightly, she entered the classroom. Throughout the morning, Julie was distracted by the ball, finding comfort in its sparkle whenever she felt lost or confused about her changing body. But during Grammar, she accidentally dropped the ball, and it rolled away where she couldn't reach it. Julie felt her heart sink, knowing she had lost her special prize. She couldn't bring herself to tell anyone about it, as it was her secret source of happiness and comfort. The teacher noticed Julie's tears and reminded her that she was special and did not need a ball to remind her of that and encouraged her to pay attention in class the next day. Despite losing her treasure, Julie felt a glimmer of hope knowing that she was valued and cared for.

They sweep, dust, and put everything in its place. Karsen also helps his grandma in the garden. Together, they water the plants and pull out weeds. In the afternoon, Karsen joins his sister and friends to clean their neighborhood. They pick up trash and sweep the streets.
