Anna and Peter find themselves transported to the magical Colourland when they enter their grandfathers garden. In Colourland they learn that each colour represents anemotion. My daughter is 5 and her name is Kayleigh. She has autism and speech delay, but she is now starting to talk after being non verbal her entire life. I want to encourage other little kids to never give up. Autism and speech delay looks different for anyone dealing with it. You are amazing inside and out and you should always believe in yourself. Kayleigh began using a speech program on her ipad at the age of 3. She's been in ABA therapy since she was 2.5 years old and Speech, Occupational, and Physical therapy since 6 months of age. She's overcome many challenges but she is smart as a wip. She communicates very well with approximations and sign language and has very good receptive language. Kayleigh is such a bright little girl who has a heart that is full of love. Her and her mommy are best friends and love to sing together while listening our favorite Beyonce' song "Energy". She loves bubbles and also driving her 5 electric cars/jeeps. She also loves her pets Bella and Milani.

The story tells of a child and mother who have come into a homeless shelter due to domestic violence in their home. The child is nervous about their new home, but a small, scruffy grey and brown dog named Scarlett welcomes the family and tells them about Quanada house. Quanada house is a home for parents and children that people stay at when their home isn't safe. It is a safe place that looks like a big house with an upstairs that has 5 bedrooms. Throughout the story, Scarlett shows the family their room, the dining room and kitchen, and the playroom. Scarlett the shelter dog helps the child make their bed up in their new room and brings toys to help it feel more like home. The child is sad about leaving their home but scarlett makes them feel better. Then they go downstairs and watch tv and eat a snack in the family room. After they eat, they go upstairs and brush their teeth and go to sleep in their temporary home.

A hungry baby goes out shopping and finds lots of yummy things to eat. Then she feels a horrible tummy pain which turns out to be a giant burp. Then her mum finds her; and she gets taken home and put to bed for a long long sleep dreaming of the yummy food.
