This is a story of a young family and the lessons they learn from their vacation with their mother at a seaside beach resort and carnival with rides and games and mysteries. Three young children the boy is the oldest at 10 then there’s the oldest sister who is 7 and the youngest is 4 and their mother.

Aubree is a 4 year old girl from Oceanside, California. She lives with her mommy, daddy, and maltipoo dog named Paddington. Christmas is Aubree’s favorite time of year and she always eagerly awaits the return of her elves on “Sleigh Day,” her family’s special holiday each year on the day after Thanksgiving. Aubree’s elves are named Chippy, Snowflake, Kitty Minnie Sparkle Heart Minnie, and Stripey Blue Eyes. They return to Aubree’s house from the North Pole on the morning of Sleigh Day, arriving in a giant red and gold sleigh, pulled by a giant toy reindeer Sven (the reindeer from Frozen). Aubree’s elves always bring her some gifts on Sleigh Day, usually some Christmas books, cozy pajamas, and a few Christmas themed toys to play with throughout the season. Each night throughout the Christmas season, Aubree’s elves fly back to the North Pole, then return to her home by the morning, always hiding in a different spot. Aubree’s elves are very mischievous and she loves searching for them every morning. Each Sunday throughout the season, her elves leave her a special card or letter along with a fun gift or activity to do with her family, like tickets to see The Nutcracker or to go to Legoland. Aubree’s family loves these special days and calls them “Elf Sundays.” Aubree’s elves stay at her home longer than other children’s elves because they know she loves Christmas so much! They stay until she goes back to school, and then they fly back to the North Pole until they return on Sleigh Day the following year. When they leave, the elves always give her a special parting gift with a card, to make sure she always has special memories of that Christmas season.

Junior quickly noticed the broken window wasn’t consistent with an actual robbery. It had been staged. Junior questioned the shop’s employees and grew suspicious of an assistant. When he checked the assistant’s bag, he found a stolen vase hidden inside. The assistant had staged the robbery to cover up his crime. With the case solved, Mr. Harrison, the shopkeeper, was thankful. Junior and Mia knew that more cases would come their way, and they were ready.

In a faraway forest, a monkey and a donkey lived together in harmony. The monkey was clever and mischievous, while the donkey was patient and strong. Despite their differences, they were the best of friends, spending their days playing and searching for food together. They sneaked into the farm, and the monkey quickly climbed the trees, picking bananas and apples, tossing them down to the donkey, who happily ate. Suddenly, they heard the farmer shouting: "Who’s stealing my fruits?!" The monkey instantly jumped up and disappeared into the trees. But the donkey, unable to move quickly, froze in place. The farmer rushed over, caught him, and tied him in the barn as punishment. Meanwhile, the monkey escaped back to the forest alone. Hours passed, and guilt filled the monkey’s heart. He couldn't leave his friend behind. That night, he sneaked back into the farm, carefully opened the barn door, and whispered: "Donkey, let’s get out of here!" The donkey hurried outside, but before leaving, he stopped and said: "You knew this was dangerous, yet you convinced me to do it. A true friend doesn’t leave his friend behind in trouble." The monkey felt ashamed and apologized sincerely. He had learned a valuable lesson about friendship and loyalty. From that day on, he became wiser and never put his friend in danger again.
