Of course it isn't, but it's still a concern for many people with tics. And those worries can cause unnecessary feelings of embarrassment and actually make the tic worse. Nobody wants to make tics worse, but is there any way to make them better? While you can't cure tics, you can take some easy steps to lessen their impact: Don't focus on it. If you know you have a tic, forget about it. Concentrating on it just makes it worse. Try to avoid stress-filled situations as much as you can — stress only makes tics worse. Get enough sleep. Being tired can makes tics worse. So make sure to get a full night's rest! Let it out! Holding back a tic can just turn it into a ticking bomb, waiting to explode. Have you ever felt a cough coming on and tried to avoid it? Didn't work out so well, did it? Chances are it was much worse. Tics are very similar. A tic? What tic? In return, Daisy showed George how to move more gracefully on the ground. “Step lightly,” she taught him. “Feel the ground under your hooves. Try to move like the wind – softly and swiftly.” George practiced every day. At first, he was a bit clumsy, but Daisy encouraged him. “You’re getting better!” she cheered. “Just keep trying!” “We’re helping each other,” Daisy replied proudly. “George is teaching me to reach new heights, and I’m helping him move gracefully.” From that day on, Daisy and George’s friendship grew even stronger, and soon other animals joined them. They realized that everyone had something special to offer.

They looked so happy and free! “Papa, why did Allah make so many different animals?” she asked. Her father replied, “Allah created every animal, plant, and human with a purpose. Each one is a sign of His love and creativity.” Page 4 On their way home, Thazkie thought about all the amazing things she saw. She felt grateful for the beautiful world Allah had created. “I want to thank Allah for all these wonderful things,” she said. Page 5 Her father smiled and held her hand. “That’s right, Thazkie.We can thank Allah every day by appreciating His creations and taking care of them.” And from that day on, Thazkie remembered to look around her and say a little “thank you” to Allah whenever she saw something beautiful.
