Pictures of birds, eyes, and shapes tell stories about the pharaoh’s life. Page 6 They quietly walk into a room with a sarcophagus, a big stone box that holds a mummy. “This mummy was once a great ruler,” says Rami. Sam and Ava feel a little scared, but also very curious! Page 7 At midday, they visit the busy market. People trade goods like wheat, dates, and cloth. “We use boats to carry our goods along the Nile,” explains Rami. Sam and Ava see bright, woven baskets full of fruit. Page 8 It is time to say goodbye. Rami waves. “Come again!” Sam and Ava open the magic book and zoom back home. Their hearts are full of wonder at all they have learned about Ancient Egypt.

On a sunny day, Baa-rbie, Koko and Roo were playing near a dog house. Suddenly, a strange noise came from the barn making them feel intrigued by the sound. They decided to investigate the sound knowing they could rely on the dog to help them. Inside the barn they found an old tractor and a chopped off head. Under the head was a secret passage. The hidden passage to led them to a secret garden filled with toys and food. The garden was overgrown, they knew it needed some work on it. the friends asked the other farm animals to help them with the mission. Everyone worked together, using their skills to make the garden look prettier. As they finished, the farmer appeared and the friends felt a bit relieved. THe farmer was happy and reminded them to stick together. All the animals and farmer returned home and had a nap by the fire place

Clemente es un niño muy dulce, curioso y amiguero. Todos le dicen Cle. Vive en las Bariloche, Argentina. Ama las montañas, la nieve, el color de las hojas en otoño, los gatos y los perros. Es muy bueno jugando al fútbol. Es muy buen escalador, escala en palestra junto con su mamá Vicky y a veces la acompaña a la montaña a escalar también. También le encanta la acrobacia. Cuando llega del colegio se sube al trapecio que tiene en su cuarto y hace piruetas toda la tarde. Una tarde volvió del colegio, tomó la merienda y mientras dibujaba de repente se quedó dormido. Mientras dormía soñó que era un futbolista de la selección argentina y que iba a Estados Unidos a jugar la Copa América, él jugaba de delantero. De repente se despertó y entendió que todo era un sueño. No era jugador profesional, pero igualmente se puso a jugar al futbol en su jardín, se sumó su vecino y la pasaron genial. Hasta que empezó a nevar y su mamá los llamó adentro a tomar una chocolatada calentita.

You seem a little worried today,” her mother said gently. Sighing, Nayla replied, “I don't know, Mom. I fear to do things and everyone says I am so terrible” Her mother smiled and sat beside Nayla. “Feeling scared is common, Nayla. But if you run away from them, they get bigger. Face them slowly, and you'll see that they're not as big as you think.” Nayla listened, but that didn't make much sense to her. Indeed, she went off to sleep that night without making peace with all the possibilities in her mind. In the dream, Nayla found herself in an unfamiliar and gloomy forest. Incredibly tall trees with black leaves grew above her. A cold breeze rustled; strange whispering sounds tingled along its gales. "Where am I?" Nayla whispered, clutching herself close. “Hello, hello! Is there any someone here? Nayla tried to call out some people. Poorly, nothing replied her calling. Suddenly a terrifying apparition loomed up from behind the trees. This monster had a smoky black body, glowing red eyes, and rumbled voice able to make ground tremble. "Wahhahaha! At last, I've found my little Nayla!" the monster roared.
