Monster has a difficult time keeping his voice at in indoor level. The kids around him don't like to have him in their group because he's too loud. The teacher teaches monster that there are times when a big voice can be used, like on the playground, but there are times when an indoor level 2 voice should be used, like during group work and classtime. Monster works hard at keeping his voice low but he has a tough time until the third try when finally he learns to keep his voice an indoor voice.

The next day he feels frustration when he cant complete his homework. Sunny tells Sammy to have his parents help him with his homework so he isn't so frustrated. The next day when Sammy is worried Sunny tells him its okay to be worried but gives him positive things to look forward to. At the end of the book Sammy and Sunny are playing outside on a summer day and Sammy thanks Sunny for helping realize his emotions and how to handle them.

The friends nodded, ready for the challenge. They marched to the dragon's cave, where a great, snoring dragon lay. "Let’s try to talk to him first," whispered Melody. Sparky had an idea. Sparky tickled the dragon’s nose with a feather. The dragon woke up with a sneeze that blew Sparky into the air. "Who dares tickle me?" roared the dragon. "We're here for the enchanted flower," said Bramble. "The forest needs its magic." The dragon blinked. "I didn’t know it was so important. I’ll give it back if you promise to visit me. I get lonely." "Of course!" they all agreed. The dragon handed over the enchanted flower, and the forest's magic sparkled brighter than ever. The cloud cannot hear her, and no colors return—the sky stays gray. Then she asks for Pablo’s help. “Your voice is strong—please sing with me!” Pablo hesitates but still tries, “Oh, lovely cloud, please give us back our light.” Maya chirps kindly, “Together we’re strong! Your voice will help my little song.” Pablo sings, “I am your friend, of course I will help you get our rainbow, dear.” The dark cloud smiles and also sings, “Now I am full of joy, your rainbow here it goes.” Together, they make the rainbow glow! Its colors return—red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. Rainbow Land rejoices as the light breaks through. Maya and Pablo sing happily because their teamwork brings back harmony. “By helping each other,” says Maya with cheer. Pablo replies, “We can overcome any challenge or fear!” The animals dance beneath the sky’s hue; the rainbow is back—its colors anew! 1. John Jr's Granny had been getting messages from Jesus. Granny said "Jesus was going to Isreal in the near future." Granny claimed that Jesus was also offended over "thought and prayer" reading implanantable devices. John Jr wanted to learn more about Jesus. 2. Granny explained, Jesus was the son of God and that he had died for the sins of humanity. Jesus was born to two ordinary Jewish people called Mary and Joseph in Bethlehem. From age 12 to 30, Jesus worked in Nazareth as a carpenter. Once he was an adult, Jesus travelled all over the country teaching people about God and encouraging people to respect and love one another. He also performed miracles, healed sick people and told amazing stories about God. He had all together 13 different disciples that helped him in spreading the word of God. 3. John thought Jesus sounded tough and kind and wanted to live in a manner like Jesus. 4. Granny read the Bible to John and gave him an important bible verse to remember. John 3:16 says "“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Granny thinks that verse gives people the glorious hope of eternal life in heaven through the love of God and death of Jesus Christ. Granny was also excited that she would eventually get to meet Jesus and God. Because there's something about it. I did a little book for John junior about. I don't have it yet. I don't think I have it yet.
