Imoni sat on the couch, her fingers poking at her mouth. “Daddy, my tooth is wiggly!” she said, Her daddy, Arthur, smiled and knelt beside her. “That’s exciting, sweetheart!  Let me see.” Imoni opened her mouth wide, and Daddy gently touched the tooth. “Yup, it’s ready to come out soon. You just have to keep wiggling it. “But what if it hurts?” Imoni asked, her voice trembling a little. Arthur sat down beside her and pulled her close. “Sometimes things that seem scary aren’t so bad when we trust the people who love us. Don’t worry. When the time is right, we’ll take care of it together.”  “Daddy, my tooth feels so loose now!” Arthur looked at her and said, “I think it’s time to  help that tooth come out. Can you get me a piece of string from the drawer?” Imoni’s eyes grew wide. “String? What for?” “We’ll tie it to your tooth and give it a quick pull.” Arthur explained gently. Imoni hesitated. “But what if it hurts, Daddy?  Arthur knelt down to her level. “I know you’re scared, sweetheart. But trust me, I’ll be gentle, and it’ll only take a second. You’re so brave, and I’ll be right here with you.” Imoni looked into her daddy’s kind eyes. She took a deep breath and nodded. “Okay, Daddy. I trust you.” Arthur carefully tied the string around Imoni’s loose tooth. “Ready, sweetheart?” he asked. Imoni squeezed her eyes shut and held her daddy’s hand. “Ready,” she whispered. “On the count of three,” Arthur said. “One… two…” Before he got to three, he gave a quick tug, and the tooth popped right out! Imoni opened her eyes. “Wait… is it out?” Arthur held up the tiny tooth. “It’s out! You did it, Imoni!” Imoni touched the gap in her mouth and smiled. “It didn’t even hurt!” she said, giggling. “I told you,” Arthur said, hugging her. “Sometimes, trusting someone makes all the difference. "That night, Imoni placed her tiny tooth under her pillow and climbed into bed. She felt proud and brave. Arthur kissed her forehead. “Goodnight, my brave girl. I’m so proud of you.”

Ceyda bu sabah çok heyecanlıydı. Uzun zamandır görmediği arkadaşı Ceren bugün gelecekti. Hemen mutfağa giderek Ceren’in en sevdiği cevizli kekten yapmaya başladı. Keki fırına koyduktan sonra oturma odasına geçti. Oturma odasındaki saksıdaki gül goncalarına uzun uzun baktı. Gül goncalarını büyük bir dikkatle suladı ve yapraklarının üzerindeki tozları nazikçe temizledi. Ceren'in bu hediyeden çok mutlu olacağını düşündü ve yüzünde tatlı bir gülümseme belirdi. Ceyda kapı zilini duydu. Koşarak kapıya gitti ve karşısında Ceren’i gördü. Ceren mutfaktan gelen kokuyu duyunca heyecanla Ceyda’ya döndü ve "Ah, cevizli kek mi yaptın?" dedi. Ceyda gülümseyerek başını salladı. Ceren “O zaman kahveler benden!” dedi ve birlikte mutfağa geçtiler. Ceren cezvenin içine kahveyi ve sütü koydu. İkisi de sütlü şekerli kahve seviyorlardı. Ocağın üzerinde kahveyi güzelce pişirdi ve fincanlara koydu. Ceyda o sırada keki kontrol etti. Pişince fırından çıkardı ve dilimledi. İki arkadaş sohbet ederken tekrardan kapı çaldı. Ceyda kapıya bakmak için kalktı. Karşısında kardeşleri Cem ve Cüneyt’i görünce şaşırdı.

He saw the dish cupboard and opened it. Inside, he found a clue hidden in a bowl. The clue read: “Your treasure awaits behind the curtain where you drink tea.” Sam knew exactly where to go next. He skated to the dining room, where a beautiful curtain hung near the window. Behind the curtain, he found a shiny tea pot. Inside the tea pot was a tiny treasure chest. Sam opened the chest and found a magical glass that granted wishes. Sam made a wish for endless adventures and a lifetime supply of chocolate! And from that day on, Sam had the most exciting adventures, thanks to his trusty skateboard and the magical glass. And every night, he’d sit in his cozy armchair and plan his next big adventure. Harvey is a 16 year old boy who is working as a newspaper delivery boy for the newspaper company. He gets paid every Thursday. This is his first job and he gets paid by check. Mr. Smith is his boss. Thursday Harvey gets his first paycheck and gets very sad. He was supposed to make 100 dollars but the check is only 70 dollars. Mr. Smith sees that Harvey gets sad and explains to him what deductions are. He starts with federal taxes which is about 8 dollars from Harvey's paycheck. The government collects taxes from all citizens to built bridges and highways and fund the army. He then explains what the social security deduction is for and also, medicare, state and city taxes. At the end Harvey is glad that the government is thinking to save money for him so he gets it when he retires. Sparky is Harvey's dog. He is sad when Harvey is sad and then gets happy at the end when Harvey understands how taxes work.
