It was Chensan's first time entering the majestic shrine hall, and he was amazed. Under the light of the flames, the glittering wall paintings appeared one by one before his eyes. After the lantern lighting ceremony ended, Chensan and his family went to the Tianhou Temple to pay respects. On the way home, the moon hung high in the sky, bathing the ancient walled village in an unusually peaceful glow. For the first time, Chensan developed a deep fondness for the traditional culture of his hometown. As Chensan grew older, he began to learn more about the history and culture of Longxue Head. From the village head and other elders, he heard the origins of the walled village, shrine halls, and Tianhou Temple. The Line Fire is a large active wildfire in San Bernardino County, Southern California. The fire began on September 5 near the community of Highland and spread into the San Bernardino National Forest. The fire has forced the evacuation of multiple communities. On September 10, the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department identified and arrested 34-year-old Justin Wayne Halstenberg, a resident of Norco, on suspicion of starting the fire on September 5. As of October 8, 2024, the Line Fire has burned 43,978 acres (17,797 hectares) and is 87 percent contained. The cause of the fire is believed to be arson.[3] It began during a multiple-day heatwave in Southern California. Downtown Los Angeles reached 112 °F (44 °C), the third time that temperature had been reached since 1877. The Line Fire has led to mandatory evacuation orders for more than 500 homes. Initial evacuation warnings were issued for neighborhoods in East Highland in the early morning of September 6, 2024. By September 7, 2024, evacuation orders would be placed for neighborhoods along the foothills, extending into San Bernardino, and for neighborhoods east of Calle Del Rio. This is a story about 3 animal friends who decided to go on a camping trip. They were all very excited and looked forward to spending the weekend in the woods. Things got a little awkward when they were all faced with a challenge of removing a fallen tree from the hiking trail. Each animal had unique leadership qualities and decided to take charge and handle things in a manner that aligned with their leadership characteristics.

Tiana is out in the swamp with her dog, Scout, when she notices something strange. The water is dark and filled with trash. Some trees are wilting, and there are fewer birds than usual. Concerned, she heads home and tells her mom, who explains that the swamp is an important part of their town’s ecosystem and warns Tiana to keep an eye on it, especially with nearby construction. The next day, Tiana returns to the swamp with her friend Trevor. They take pictures of the polluted water, sick plants, and construction workers dumping waste into the swamp. Trevor helps document everything. They discover that the construction company is dumping hazardous waste to save money and even plans to drain part of the swamp for new buildings. Tiana knows this could destroy the swamp, so she decides to investigate further. She speaks to Mr. Green, a local historian, who shares stories about the rare frogs and the swamp’s cultural importance. With Trevor’s help, they gather proof of the pollution and the company’s plans. Tiana organizes a meeting with the mayor, Ms. Jenkins, to present the evidence. She speaks passionately about the swamp’s importance and the dangers of the construction project. The mayor promises to investigate, and after a tense week, announces that the construction will halt for an environmental review. The town comes together to clean up the swamp. With Tiana’s leadership, they restore the swamp’s beauty by planting trees, removing trash, and ensuring the wildlife can thrive.

Jordan brings a Kinara his family celebrates Kwanzaa they light the candles to symbolize their community. Taylor brings a star from his Christmas tree. He explains that he celebrates Christmas and that the star is a reminder of the North Star the wise men followed to find Jesus. Mako brings a Bodi tree with lights. Mako's her family celebrates Bodi day, the day when the Buddha achieved enlightenment the lights on the tree represent the path to enlightenment. Alex brings a Menorah, Alex's family celebrates Hannukah, and the candles symbolize light's triumph over dark. River brings in a crown made of holly candles sticking out of it. her family celebrates Winter Solstice & the return of the sun. Ms. Dennis says all their celebrations revolve around light and the symbol of the Unitarian Universalist Church is a flaming chalice, each of the children have a light inside of them. River suggests they sing "This little light of mine" for the winter concert. Everyone agrees.
