I especially love to visit the Tin Hau Temple, where after lighting an incense stick, I listen to the miraculous stories of the Goddess of Heaven and the Earth God, hoping they will bless me with safety and health. The nearby Chong Him Hall is also a favorite of mine, filled with countless memories from my childhood. Every time I step into this familiar historic site, I can't help but feel: I am so fortunate to be born in such a place rich in history and culture. He says goodbye to his new friends and grabs the gem. He closes his eyes again and when he opens them, he is back in bed waking up to a new day. He is no longer afraid of the dark and going to sleep as he is excited for what adventures are in store for him when he goes to sleep with his magical gem.
