They encounter: A playful school of clownfish who invite Jax to play hide-and-seek in the anemones. A wise old sea turtle who tells Jax stories about the ocean’s history. A shy octopus who shows Jax how to change colors and hide in the sand. A group of dolphins who perform flips and tricks, making Jax laugh. Ollie takes Jax to a special underwater cave where all the sea creatures are having a party. There’s music (made by singing whales and clapping crabs), dancing, and even a seaweed cake! Jax is the guest of honor, and everyone celebrates his bravery and curiosity. As the sun begins to set, Ollie tells Jax it’s time to return to the shore. Jax says goodbye to his new friends, promising to visit again someday. Ollie swims him back to the beach, where Jax’s parents are waiting. When Jax looks back at the ocean, he sees Ollie’s fin waving goodbye. Jax runs to his parents, excitedly telling them about his adventure. They smile and listen, even though they think he’s just imagining things. But Jax knows it was real—he still has the magical seashell necklace as a reminder.

Grandma Gross, Darlene, grew up in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota. She had 2 sisters, she liked to roller skate, she liked to write, and . Her Grandpa Gross, James, grew up in Lastrup, Minnesota. He had 2 brothers and 2 sisters, he helped out at his father's grocery store, could fix just about anything, and joined the Navy. Darlene and Jim met at the Falls Ballroom and fell in love. They married September 1st, 1956 and went on to have 4 daughters. As a family, Grandma and Grandpa and the 4 girls traveled, went camping, visited grandparents, and had family dinners together. Eventually the 4 daughters grew up and had their own kids and mama was born. Mama spent time with her grandparents at their Camper at Camp Holiday, and had Christmas, holidays, and birthday celebrations with the entire family. Grandma and mama were very close. Mama has the wedding ring that grandpa presented to grandma all those years ago in 1956. Grandma and Grandpa are buried at Fort Snelling.

Efe found a small, shiny stone on the ground one morning while playing in the garden. When he picked it up, he saw a tiny insect underneath. He later realized it was a bee. "Hey, sweet bee! What are you doing here?" he called out to the bee. "Of course, I'm carrying honey!" the bee replied and flew away instantly. Efe was surprised. When he turned his head, he saw ladybugs drawing patterns on the flowers. He immediately closed his eyes and made a wish. His favorite toy should be his! When he opened his eyes, a grasshopper jumped out from between the blades of grass. It was such an energetic grasshopper that it kept jumping non-stop. Efe started jumping with it. When he got tired, he sat on some stones between two flowers to rest. What did he see? A colorful, wide-winged butterfly was dancing right beside him. The insects in this garden were so much fun! Efe danced along with the butterfly. Efe met many insects in the garden. He became friends with all of them. Now, he had lots of insect friends!
