A laboratory receives a sign threatening to destroy Earth and the whole solar system. Few months later, Earth is attacked by a space laser. Governments are unable to response. Dr. Superstar decides to experiment on his cat and dog, he makes them superheroes. He then sends them to outer space. Star Cat and Space Dog disable the laser of the aliens. Now, aliens are unable to harm the solar system which gives humanity more time to response for future threats from outer space.

1. John Jr and Yuēhàn loved to learn about US history. They decided to look into the War of 1812. John Jr's mom actually let them watch a TV special about it. 2. John Jr and Yuēhàn learned that The War of 1812 was fought by the United States and against the United Kingdom and its allies in North America. It began when the United States declared war on Britain on 18 June 1812. Although peace terms were agreed upon in the December 1814 Treaty of Ghent, the war did not officially end until the peace treaty was ratified by the United States Congress on 17 February 1815. 2. John Jr highlighted some important points about the War of 1812 to Yuēhàn. These points included: The war was fought over trade practices, territorial expansion, and British support for Tecumseh's confederacy, The British Royal Navy took American sailors from their ships and forced them to join the British Navy, The war ended in a stalemate, with no side losing territory, except for the Native Americans, The war is sometimes called the Second War of Independence, The war was a result of the wider conflict between Great Britain and France over who would dominate the world 3. John Jr and Yuehan was glad to hear that On February 16, 1815, the day President James Madison sent the Treaty of Ghent to the Senate, the War of 1812 came to an end.

The wise old turtle, slow but smart,Spread the word, made a start.The mighty sea spirit heard the call,And sent a wave—so huge, so tall! Just before Finn took the drop,The ocean roared—SPLASH, PLOP!A mighty wave, so strong, so wide,Swept Finn safely back inside. Morwen shrieked, her spell went poof,She slipped and slid right off the roof!Down she tumbled, wet and mad,No more spells—oh, she was sad! And so, Finn swam, both safe and sound,With fishy friends all gathered ‘round.The sea was calm, the sky was bright,And all was well, both day and night. The end! 🌊✨

1. John Jr and Yuēhàn found a book on the Vietnam War and The Civil Rights Movement. 2. Yuēhàn read to John Jr that The Vietnam War was a long conflict in Southeast Asia. It began in 1954, after the country of Vietnam was split into two parts, North Vietnam and South Vietnam. North Vietnam wanted to reunite the country under Communism, its political and economic system. South Vietnam fought to keep this from happening. The United States helped South Vietnam, but North Vietnam won the war in 1975. Soon Vietnam was a united, Communist country. The Vietnam War had a huge cost in human lives. More than 1.3 million Vietnamese soldiers and about 58,000 U.S. troops were killed. 3. Yuēhàn also read In 1954, the Supreme Court ruled unanimously in Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka that racial segregation of children in public schools was unconstitutional. This case was a cornerstone of the Civil Rights Movement. The main aim of the civil rights movement was to give everybody equal rights regardless of color skin color, gender, nationality, religion, disability or age. The aim of the movement which peaked in the 1960's was to ensure that the rights of all people are equally and are protected by the law.
