Aqma walks to the park near his house with excitement. He wants to practice his new football shooting technique so he can become a great footballer like Cristiano Ronaldo. “Alright! Today I’ll get better and closer to my dream of being a footballer!” Aqma said to himself, holding his ball tightly. When Aqma arrives at the park, he looks up at the clear sky and smiles. As he lowers his hand, he notices a girl sitting alone in the gazebo. “Who’s that girl? I’ve never seen her here before,” Aqma wonders. As Aqma practices, he feels uncomfortable. He isn’t used to being watched, especially by a girl. “Come on, Aqma! You’re a man, don’t be shy,” he mutters to himself. He glances at the girl again, and to his surprise, she is watching him too. Aqma becomes even more distracted. Aqma gathers his courage and walks toward the girl. Rina, feeling shy and unsure, looks at him as he approaches. “Hi, my name is Aqma. What’s your name?” Aqma asks with a smile. The girl stays quiet for a moment, then softly replies, “Umm... Rina. My name is Rina.” “Hello, Rina! If you don’t mind, would you like to play football with me? Just for fun?” Aqma asks cheerfully. Rina shakes her head. “I’m sorry, Aqma. I can’t play football.” “Don’t worry! I’ll teach you!” Aqma insists. But Rina lowers her face and says quietly, “It’s not that... I can’t walk properly.” Aqma is confused a bit and then notices the walking stick behind her, “Oh," Aqma feels sorry and says softly, “I’m so sorry, Rina. I didn’t know...” Rina smiles a little. “It’s okay, really.” Suddenly, Aqma has an idea. “Hey, Rina! What if you become my coach?” “Me? How?” Rina asks, surprised. “You can help rate my skills and tell me how good my shots are! just like a real coach!” Aqma says excitedly. Rina smiles brighter. “Okay, my dads often tell me about Cristiano, so I understand a bit about football”. “Really? You know Cristiano too? Aqma surprised. From that day on, Aqma and Rina meet at the park often.

Chensan was a lively and cheerful boy. He lived within the old walled village of Longxue Head, where his family's ancestral hall had been built beside the walls for generations. Every day after school, Chensan would go play at the gate of the ancestral hall. The moss-covered ancient stone steps in front of the hall was where Chensan liked to jump around, pretending he was a dragon. Chensan's best playmate was Meihu, a girl from the neighboring village who grew up there. They often went together to the Tianhou Temple in Longxue Head to play, looking at the candles and offerings in front of the statues. Chensan found everything in the Tianhou Temple novel. Sometimes, he and Meihu would also go to the ancient well at the entrance of the village to have water fights. It was Chensan's tenth birthday and he was excited for the lantern lighting ceremony. That night, dressed in traditional attire, he carried a torch and incense burner as he walked to the Deng Gong Shrine in Songling. It was Chensan's first time entering the majestic shrine hall, and he was amazed. Under the light of the flames, the glittering wall paintings appeared one by one before his eyes. After the lantern lighting ceremony ended, Chensan and his family went to the Tianhou Temple to pay respects. On the way home, the moon hung high in the sky, bathing the ancient walled village in an unusually peaceful glow. For the first time, Chensan developed a deep fondness for the traditional culture of his hometown. As Chensan grew older, he began to learn more about the history and culture of Longxue Head. From the village head and other elders, he heard the origins of the walled village, shrine halls, and Tianhou Temple. Chensan also started researching how to preserve these important cultural heritages that represent the local traditions...

1. John Jr and Vasi saw a show about gardening. It really sparked their interest. John Jr asked his mom if he and Vasi could plant a garden in backyard. At the store John Jr and Vasi purchased cucumber, pepper, cantaloupe, radish and lettuce seeds. 3. John Jr and Vasi had to prep the ground for their garden. They had to till the soil to a depth of about 10 inches,add fertilizer to enrich the soil, Level the garden bed, and Water the soil well and let it settle for a few days. 4. A few days passed and John Jr and Vasi were ready to plant. They poked holes for the seeds, then placed seeds and covered dirt over seeds. After planting , they gave a nice watering to their garden. 5. John Jr and Vasi looked after and watered their garden daily. A few weeks went by and there was some buds sprouting. A few more weeks later there was fruit and vegetables starting to form. 6.. As summer was closing in, the fruit and veggies were ripe and in abundance. John Jr and Vasi went out to the garden and picked all the fruits and vegetables. There was so much that they gave Granny and a few neighbors some of their harvest.
