The once-beautiful ocean was now dirty. 3. “This is terrible,” said Turtle. “We need to clean this up right away!” “I’ll help!” said Starfish. “Let’s all work together to make the ocean clean again.” Clownfish nodded. “Yes! Our home needs us.” The friends agreed to start cleaning up the trash immediately. 4. Just as they began, a baby whale swam over. “What’s going on?” the whale asked curiously. “We’re cleaning the ocean,” Dolphin explained. “Can I help?” the whale asked with a big smile. “I can use my tail to push the trash into a pile.” The friends were happy to have more help. 5. The team got to work. Dolphin grabbed plastic bottles with his fins. Turtle picked up plastic bags floating near the coral. Starfish collected smaller pieces of trash stuck on the ocean floor. Clownfish swam around carefully, making sure nothing was left behind. The baby whale used its strong tail to push the trash into one big pile. They all worked hard together! 6. After hours of teamwork, the ocean was finally clean again. The water became clear, and colorful fish swam happily among the healthy coral reefs. The friends looked around with pride. “We did it! Great job, everyone!” Dolphin said with a big smile. 7. A pufferfish swam over and said, “Thank you for cleaning the ocean! Now it’s safe and beautiful again.” “We’ll make sure it stays this way,” said Turtle. He would share them with Daisy, who would happily munch away, enjoying a treat she could never reach on her own. In return, Daisy showed George how to move more gracefully on the ground. “Step lightly,” she taught him. “Feel the ground under your hooves. Try to move like the wind – softly and swiftly.” George practiced every day. It ends with the 5 family members hugging and the baby dragon flying around them protecting them.

Lots of children give plastic bottle lids to Lids4Kids to be recycled. Lids4Kids volunteers sort them into color categories as a group. The colored lids are divided into 3 groups before being poured into a big machine that mulches them into small flakes. Another machine melts the flakes and extrudes them into a metal mold in the shape of slats for a bench. Volunteers then use carpentry tools to build a colorful bench.

Dad dropped anchor, and the children squealed with delight as they jumped into the crystal-clear water for a swim. Butch, naturally, joined in, paddling furiously and chasing after floating seaweed. The water was cool and refreshing, and the underwater world teemed with colorful fish darting between vibrant coral. After their refreshing swim, it was time for lunch. Dad unpacked a picnic basket overflowing with sandwiches, fruit, and juice boxes. They ate their lunch while watching a playful crab scuttle across the rocks. Dad taught Audrey and Daniel how to navigate using a compass and chart, showing them how to identify landmarks and plan their course. Daniel even got to try steering the boat under Dad's watchful eye. Audrey, meanwhile, kept a lookout for marine life, excitedly pointing out every passing bird and fish.
