(page 6) Meanwhile, Cytotoxic (Killer) T cells arrive! They find infected cells and destroy them to stop the pathogen’s plan! (page 7) Once the battle is almost won, Regulatory T cells make sure the superheroes don’t attack too much. They help the immune system calm down and return to normal. (page 8) After the battle, some B cells turn into Memory Cells. These cells remember the villain so they can defeat it even faster next time! (page 9) Bella feels better! Her primary immune response was strong, and next time, her secondary immune response will be even quicker! (page 10) Thanks to the Immune System Superheroes, Bella is safe! Her body is always ready for the next adventure!

As Mom zipped up the back, Janice looked at her reflection in the mirror. Everything was perfect except for how her hair looked. It still looked like a boy's. Janice changed into a pink waltz-length nightgown. Megan showed her how to remove her makeup and properly cleanse her face. Mom insisted that they needed to get some sleep and that they had the entire week to get know with their new sister. For Janice, sleep came easily, despite her excitement and newfound identity. She dreamed of being Mom's Christmas elf and wearing a green satin dress just like her sisters. She awoke the next morning happy and eager to face the day. The week went by quickly for the girls. Megan was Janice's primary teacher during the week but Lindsay and Kerry also helped. Janice was enjoying new persona, her sisters were enjoying having her with them. Before anyone realized it, it was Christmas Eve. Mom laid out Kerrie's and Lindsay's dresses, shoes, stockings and underwear for the next morning. Megan laid out her things without Mom's help. She and Mom came into Janice's room, Janice watched as Mom hung a lovely green satin dress trim with white fur on the door. Why are you crying? they ask. The Wise Tree replies, I feel left out because I’m a willow among spruces. Trika comforts the tree, Don’t be ashamed! Talk to the spruces—they’ll be your friends. The Wise Tree befriends the spruces. Grateful, it asks how to return the favor. Trika asks, Can you tell us how to get to the moon? The Wise Tree says, Soak this rope in the magical river on the mountain. Trika and Cat thank the tree and head to the mountain. At the river, the fairies say the water isn’t magical because a fairy is lost. Trika finds the lost fairy, soaks the rope in the river, and lassos the moon. She climbs to the moon with Cat.

One sunny morning, Finn, Benny, Sophie, and Toby played near a big tree. Suddenly, they found an old map under some rocks. “It’s a treasure map!” shouted Benny. The map showed a path to treasure in the Desert of Dunes. “Let’s find it!” said Sophie. And so, their adventure began. Scene 1 As they prepared, Benny teased Toby. “You’re too slow for the desert,” he said. “The sun will set before you reach the first dune!” added Sophie, laughing. Toby smiled. “I’ll still do my best,” he said. Each friend had a job: Finn led the way, Benny searched for water, Sophie climbed dunes to check the path, and Toby read the map for clues. Scene 2 The friends entered the hot desert. Benny, Finn, and Sophie ran ahead while Toby walked slowly. Suddenly, the three stepped into soft, sinking sand. “It’s quicksand!” shouted Sophie, as they tried to escape but got stuck. Scene 3 Toby saw his friends in trouble and found a strong stick nearby. “Hold on!” Toby shouted as he reached the edge of the quicksand. He used the stick to pull them out, one by one. “Thank you, Toby!” said Finn. “You saved us!” Scene 4 After the quicksand, the friends worked as a team. Toby read the map, Sophie climbed dunes to guide the way, and Benny and Finn carried supplies. Together, they followed the clues carefully. Scene 5 Finally, they found the treasure chest just as the sun was setting. Its golden glow sparkled in the soft light. “We made it!” shouted Benny. Scene 6 Inside the chest, they found shiny gems and a note that said: Treasure is found when friends work together. “We couldn’t have done it without each other,” said Finn. Scene 7 “We all helped in our own way,” said Toby with a proud smile. From that day on, the friends knew that teamwork was the greatest treasure of all.

I was born in the historic village of Lung Yeuk Tau. The vast mountain ridges resemble a majestic dragon leisurely strolling, quietly overlooking us, the young people who grew up here. From a young age, I was captivated by the unique buildings in the village. The Song Ling Tang Gong Hall stands solemnly, with various exquisite wood carvings and murals showcasing the long history and profound culture of the Tang family. The thick walls of the old village bear witness to our ancestors’ commitment to and protection of this tranquil home. The continuous incense in the temple evokes a strong sense of local customs. I was fortunate to grow up in buildings like the Shik Lu and Chong Him Hall, which blend traditional Chinese features with Western architectural elements. The winding stairs and airy terraces all highlight the unique charm of this cultural fusion. Even in today's age of towering buildings, Lung Yeuk Tau retains its rustic village charm. Villages like Wing Ning and New Walled Village still preserve their circular wall layouts, and one can occasionally catch a glimpse of ancient wells in the alleys, making it feel as if we've traveled back to ancient times. During major festivals, we ring the heavy bronze bell in front of the familiar Tin Hau Temple, hoping for the Goddess of Heaven's blessings. The historic sound of the bell seems to tell the stories of this land. Perhaps it is these historical buildings that nurture the cultural foundation of us, the children of Lung Yeuk Tau. We have personally experienced the unique humanistic atmosphere here since childhood; it has deeply imprinted itself in our hearts, becoming an indispensable part of us. Lung Yeuk Tau, nestled beneath these beautiful mountains, carries a long history and accumulates rich culture. We, the young people who grew up here, will continue to defend this peaceful homeland, ensuring its brilliance shines forever.

Luca si Dodo sunt cei mai buni prieteni. Intr-o seara, Dodo i-a povestit lui Luca visul lui: voia sa zboare ca o pasare. A doua zi, mama si tata aveau o surpriza pentru Luca: astazi mergem in vacanta la mare. O sa zburam cu avionul. Luca s-a bucurat foarte mult si abia astepta sa se joace din nou in nisip si sa culeaca scoici. Lui Luca i-a venit o idee. I-a spus mamei ca vrea sa aiba el un bagaj pentru vacanta. Mama i-a zambit si i-a dat rucsacelul de gradinita. Nu este prea mare, dar este destul pentru cateva jucarii. Dupa ce au urcat in avion, Luca a vrut neaparat sa stea pe scaunul de la geam. Tata i-a zambit. In ochii lui Luca se vedea o luminita. Cand avionul a ajuns deasupra norilor, Luca a zambit. L-a scos pe Dodo din rucsacel. L-a luat in brate si l-a pus in dreptul ferestrei. Dodo se uita pe geam. Zburam!, chiar zbura ca o pasare. Era deasupra norilor, putea sa vada muntii de sus. La plaja, Dodo a gasit cea mai frumoasa scoica pentru Luca.
